Typhoon Exploration Inc. is a Canadian based mineral exploration company established in 2003, with a diversified portfolio of properties. To increase the value of its assets, the company's strategy is to use modern technology for exploration with a commitment to minimize its impact on the environment. It intends to continue its mission of exploration and development independently or in partnership.
The properties of Typhoon Exploration Inc. were selected based on their very favorable geological settings, close to mining camps with all facilities necessary for their development. They are all located in Quebec.
The Fayolle Project is the most advanced exploration project and provides an important potential for gold resources development.
It is located in the heart of the Abitibi (Canada), in one of the most prolific worldwide gold mining camp. The Fayolle Deposit to date contains 188,000 ounces of gold in the indicated category (43-101 report dated September 2012) and is located near the mining camps of Rouyn-Noranda, Val d'Or and Malartic.
In May 2010, Typhoon Exploration Inc. has signed an option agreement with Aurizon Mines Ltd. for the development of this property. The agreement is an option held by Aurizon to acquire up to 65% interest in investing $ 25 million (Can) in exploration and making private placements totaling $ 2,000,000 (Can), for a total investment of $27 million dollars.
The work of MRNF as well as a compilation by Typhoon Exploration Inc. has identified a broad corridor with great potential located directly on the Fayolle Property as well as in its immediate environment. This corridor shows a potential extension of the Fayolle Deposit mineralization over 2.5 km east-west by about 1 km north-south, while remaining open at depth. It is in this favourable sector that is located three other properties in which Typhoon Exploration Inc. has important interests. These properties are Faille 1 (100% Typhoon Exploration Inc.), Aiguebelle-Goldfields (51% Typhoon Exploration Inc. / 49% Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd.) and Destorbelle (50% Typhoon Exploration Inc. / 50% Diamond Frank Exploration Inc.).
Typhoon Exploration Inc. also owns the Nordair Property (100% Typhoon Exploration Inc.), located in James Bay, in the heart of the Plan Nord territory and Monexco-McCorkill (100% Typhoon Exploration Inc.), a property with a diversified potential (gold and base metals), located in the Chibougamau mining camp and also on the Plan Nord territory.
With the support of government agencies and regional officials, the company also takes every precaution to meet its commitment to minimize the environmental impact as part of its activities. Typhoon Exploration Inc. reseeded several hectares of ground and reforested thousands of first grade trees as part of an exploration site reforestation project, on its Fayolle and Aiguebelle-Goldfields properties, as well as on the Destorbelle Property with the collaboration of its partner Diamond Frank Exploration Inc.

The company was awarded the 2010 "Entrepreneur of the Year" and "E3 Plus (Environmental Excellence in Exploration)" by the Quebec Mineral Exploration Association (AEMQ).
