YOur COMPANY

In 2003, Typhoon Exploration established itself in the heart of the Abitibi region with a mission: to discover a gold deposit on the Porcupine-Destor fault, beginning with the Fayolle and Faille 1 properties which cover a surface area of 34.48km2. The company holds 100% of the properties listed above and this without any debt. It seeks to solidify its position by acquiring other properties in major mining camp cities such as Rouyn-Noranda, Val D’Or, Malartic and Chibougamau.

The Fayolle property offers the company the potential to gather important gold resources. A major data compilation of Fayolle (1946-2010) was completed between the months of April 2009 and February 2010 which allowed us to identify a favourable corridor between the Aiguebelle-Goldfields Showing and a large anomaly to the south-east of the Mc Donald Showing. The corridor shows a potential extension of the Fayolle Deposit mineralization on more than 2.5 km east-west by approximately 1.0 km north-south, all while remaining open at depth.

The company will continue operations already underway in known gold-containing zones (NI 43-101, 2007), which represent a small fraction – only 1% - of the overall surface area of Fayolle, with 188,000 ounces of inferred gold value.

The gold content in this fault is impressive and is soliciting interest from markets and industry insiders alike. It is noteworthy that the company only has 12,971,120 shares in circulation which are owned by 2,197 investors.

The company’s management foresees that with a rise in gold prices the drilling operations carried out on the Fayolle property will increase the value of its shares.

Staying true to a development and exploration strategy which is applied to all of Typhoon’s properties, the company enlists the services of expert geological consultants and executes all research and extraction work using the latest industry technologies.

With the encouragement of governmental and regional administrations, the company also takes all necessary precautions to minimize the environmental impact of its activities. Typhoon is proud to have reforested more than 8 hectares of its mining sites with transplants of 1769 premium-grade, indigenous trees.

This positive step towards community and the future of local economics is even more significant for this generation according to Mr. David Mc Donald, President and CEO of Typhoon Exploration and member of the administrative council of the Quebec Mineral Exploration Association, (AEMQ).

These developments and a commitment to the promotion of mining resources, right here in Quebec, give purpose to Typhoon’s mission - which is to contribute to the enrichment of the community.
